PATI

A meeting place designed to remain open to nature

CONSTRUCTION

An open wooden structure designed to remain in contact with its surroundings. Without blocking views or creating visual weight — Pati is conceived as a gathering point, not a dominant structure.

MATERIALS

Natural materials chosen for durability, but also for the way they age. Wood, canvas, and details that do not lose character over time — they gain it.

PURPOSES

Shared space — for reception, gathering, and short stays. Pati follows the flow of people and the moments between arrival and departure.

The Pati model as a shared space with terraces, staircases, and a central walkway for encounters and the movement of people in a natural setting.
A place that connects movement and staying

Pati is not a place where people stay for long, but one they pass through, arrive at, and use as needed. Its role is to guide movement, enable encounters, and naturally gather people without imposing form or direction.

Staircases, terraces, and the central axis are not decoration — they create a rhythm of use and give the place a clear focal point.

Its role becomes clearer when observing how guests use the space between arrival and their stay.

The point around which everything naturally organizes

Pati is not installed after everything else is already decided.

It comes earlier — at the planning stage, not the decoration stage.

Its position influences the layout of structures, circulation paths, and the way the space is planned.

When the model is clearly defined, the rest of the project develops more smoothly, with fewer corrections and less improvisation.

That is why Pati is not an add-on.
It is part of the decision about how the project should function from the start.

What's the idea

NOT EVERYTHING IS DESIGNED FOR STAYING

Pati is a space for movement, encounters, and brief stays.
It is designed for the moment, not for duration.

WHERE THE PATI MODEL IS USED

Forest and mountain locations

The Pati model is used where the terrain is irregular, access is limited, and a shared space is needed without permanent construction.

Open and remote locations

The Pati model functions as a central point on large, open sites — where infrastructure is absent but there is a need for gathering and spatial orientation.

Sheltered forest settings

The Pati model naturally blends into forest settings, where the structure does not dominate the space but becomes a discreet point for meeting, rest, and orientation within the existing landscape.

Model Pati

Available upon direct inquiry

Pati is not applied universally — each project is considered in relation to the location, purpose, and the way the space is oganized.

Each inquiry is considered in relation to the location and intended use.

If this approach fits your project, feel free to send us an inquiry.
